Mackinac Island- On the register of National Historic Landmarks, This victorian era island has a history dating back to the early fur traders and Indians of the Straits area. Allowing no motorized vehicles one steps back into history riding bicycles or horse drawn carriages to the historic and tourist attractions of the island. The ferries to the island are .25 miles from Tiki RV Park.
Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City- An 18th century French then British fort that acted as a trading post, This fort has wonderful recreations of buildings and events from the 18th century as well as some of the original buildings.
Mill Creek State Park- A sawmill dating back to 1790.
The Soo Locks- A set of locks on the St. Marys River which allows ships to pass from Lake Superior to the lower Great Lakes over a 21 ft drop.
Tahquamenon Falls- Two sets of gorgeous falls, the lower falls have boat rentals to explore one of the small islands and the Tahquamenon River. The views are spectacular!
